Here we are at stage 7.

Interior.....Here is a lousy shot of the new headliner.

I also bought this from Gbodyparts.com. I was a little frustrated with it, as it was somewhat dirty (the box end flap was not taped up well for shipment), but it cleaned up nicely. This is the new abs headliner with the fabric/foam already installed. Just pull it out of the box and install. Good piece.

I also rebuilt a center console. You saw the pics before of the mounting brackets welded in. I have also installed the carpet I received from ACC. They make pretty good stuff. I wished the carpet was molded a little better, but for aftermarket and not oem nos stuff, I think it is pretty decent. The pile looks correct and the color was spot on. Good job. So here you see the carpet and center console installed.....

As you can see, the color is right on. I actually bought vinyl dye and painted the center console myself after I rebuilt it from parts supplied from Keith at M.M.O.R.S. Keith refurbishes center consoles for our cars, as well as sells good used parts for Gbody cars. Between the center console I bought from Keith ,the one from the 86 442 and the rebuilding that I did, I now have a mint center console. Just need to get a new top plate for it.

I have also purchased new wheels for the car off a guy on ROP (realoldspowered.com). Nice set of SSII's with tires. The front tires are new, the back are MT Sportsman Pro that are worn down quite a bit. But I plan on finishing them off anyhow. :)

I have also installed the new braided stainless brake lines on the front and rear. Nice stuff and fit perfect.

At this point, all the suspension is done. I have the 8.5 rear back from Trick, and installed it. Fit perfect with the new stainless brake lines. Also took care of the front and rear sway bars, end links and bushings (all provided by PST).

Here is a crappy shot of the rear bolted in. You can also see the MT tires on the back. Yeah, cant wait to wear them down the rest of the way.

I have also cleaned the top of the gas tank and installed the stainless fuel lines, plumbed the lines and installed the tank. Still have to clean the bottom and get it painted. So many things to do.....

Here are some more pictures of the brake lines, rear end and stainless fuel lines...

Here is the drivers side, Man is that clean under there...

Passenger side

Here you can see the stainless fuel lines (yes, three of them) and the stainless brake lines on the rear axle.

Here you see how clean everything is as well as all the new parts, like new e-brake cables
